Prednisolone is used as glucocorticoid replacement therapy for adrenal insufficiency (AI). Recent data indicate that its use in AI is associated with low bone mineral density. Data on risk factors for cardiovascular disease in patients with AI treated with prednisolone are scarce, despite this condition being the predominant cause of excess mortality. We aimed to address this question using real-world data from the European Adrenal Insufficiency Registry (EU-AIR). = 909) were identified and grouped at a ratio of 1:3 (prednisolone:hydrocortisone) by matching for gender, age, duration and type of disease. Data from baseline and follow-up visits were analysed. Data from patients with congenital adrenal hyperplasia were excluded. I used clomid to get pg wtih #1, but new doctor has me on Metformin and we have just started clomid again. (She wants me to do progesterone after that, but we can't afford it.) Does anyone have any advice on handling all 3 of these? I remember from #1 that taking Clomid at night helps reduce symptoms, but I don't remember the insomnia I've been having. I took estradiol once before and it made me a crazy woman. Your doc probably sees that your estrogen levels are low so he prescribed this to boost it up. I'm wondering if I shouldn't avoid it this time since I didn't need it last time. I was on Estradiol, clomid, metformin, and several injectibles when I finally got pg. My doctor put me on what he calls the Fertility Med Tri-Fecta too. I'm on Clomid, Estradiol, and progesterone (my insurance covers it so I only pay ). My doc said that Clomid thins the lining of your uterus and the Estradiol (estrogen) thickens it again in case pregnancy occurs. I've had a miscarriage in the past and he told me it may have been due to too low estrogen and a thin lining. Read the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start taking fluconazole and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor or pharmacist. Take this medication by mouth with or without food as directed by your doctor, usually once daily. If you are taking the liquid suspension form of this medication, shake the bottle well before each dose. Carefully measure the dose using a special measuring device/spoon. Do not use a household spoon because you may not get the correct dose. Dosage is based on your medical condition and response to treatment. Generally in children, the dose should not exceed 600 milligrams daily unless directed by the doctor. Yeast and Thrush - Breastfeeding Online Thrush Resources • Fluconazole for babies - MedHelp
